Card Artwork Typesetting Service | Print-ready professional artwork, even without the source file

You may have an old name card, a JPG/PNG supplied by a client, or just a photo — but without the AI source file, you may worry about misalignment, clipped text or incorrect bleed when it goes to print.
We can recreate the layout to scale, apply standard bleed and safe-area settings, and, where needed, prepare separate black artwork layers for finishes such as hot foil stamping, UV and white ink, creating a genuinely print-ready file.

Black Separation Artwork File Specifications (Essential for hot foil stamping, UV and white ink)

Basic Black Artwork Principles (All Finishes)

  • Prepare the black artwork in 100% black (K=100), with no greyscale, gradients or transparency
  • Place each finishing area on a separate layer or page and label it clearly (for example, FOIL / UV / WHITE)
  • Please convert text to outlines to prevent font shifts or missing characters
  • Keep black artwork away from the edge: allow at least 2 mm from the trim line

Detail Recommendations (For More Reliable Results)

  • Minimum line width: at least 0.2 mm is recommended (finer lines can break up)
  • Minimum text size: at least 6 pt is recommended (smaller details may become indistinct)
  • Avoid large solid finishing areas: large hot-foil or UV areas are more likely to show joins or stretch marks
  • For a knockout effect, please also provide a clear visual reference to avoid misunderstandings

If you do not want to prepare the black artwork yourself, send us your design file (or describe where you want the foil applied). We can prepare it for you, with a separate quotation based on complexity.

Yes. Send us clear images (or scans) of the front and back. We'll recreate the layout to scale, apply the bleed and safe area, and produce a print-ready PDF. The JPG/PDF files will be delivered within 24 hours of final approval.
Q: How many rounds of revisions are included, and what happens after that?
This service includes three rounds of revisions. Further changes are charged based on their scope. Supplying all copy and information together will make the process much faster.
Q: I want hot foil stamping, UV or white ink. How should I supply the finishing areas?
