Product Introduction

Multi-Purpose Reverse-Adhesive Window Sticker, Residue-Free

A reverse-adhesive window sticker is reverse-printed onto vehicle sticker material so that the image appears on the adhesive side. It is applied indoors, so it is not exposed directly to sunlight and will not fade noticeably even after prolonged use. It can also last for one year outdoors without issue. The longer it is used beyond 12 months, the greater the likelihood of adhesive residue.

Pre-Press Notes:

  • A colour variation of 15%–20% is within the acceptable range for large-format printing, which has greater colour variation than standard printed products.
  • Even when the same artwork file is output on different materials or with different inks, colours will vary. The same file printed on the same material at different times may also show colour variation because of environmental differences.
  • When the same file is printed again (such as a reprint of previous artwork), colour variation of around 10% is normal and is not grounds for a reprint or return.
  • All large-format prints include lamination. If lamination is not required, please specify this when placing your order.
  • When a large-format print is wider than the material, panels can be joined to increase the width. Visible marks at the joins are normal.
  • The maximum large-format printing width is 150cm. Prints longer than 150cm will be seamed by default.
  • For reprints of previous artwork, we cannot determine during artwork checking whether the colour sample matches the colours in the file.
  • All installation and large-format output fees are charged separately.

Other Notes:

  • We are not responsible for proofreading. Before approving the artwork, please carefully check that all information is correct. Once the artwork has been approved, printing and delivery will be based on the customer-approved artwork, and the customer is responsible for any other errors or omissions.
  • If other flyer sizes, quantities or finishing options are required, please specify them when placing your order.

Ordering Process

Artwork Guidelines

  1. Accepted large-format artwork formats are JPG, PDF, AI and PS. Please convert your files to one of these formats. The artwork resolution must be 200–350dpi and the colour mode must be CMYK.
  2. If the large-format artwork contains small text, avoid using image-processing software such as Photoshop for the design, as the text may appear blurred when output. Using Illustrator vector software to prepare the artwork can prevent blurred text.
  3. Printing Banana does not accept TIF files because they may alter the file content and cause problems with the finished print.
  4. Large-format artwork does not require bleed. If a white border is required, please draw the outer frame yourself and specify that the white edge is the border, as shown below:

  5. Ink dots in large-format output differ from standard printing. Very small text, lines and graphics may have blurred edges or ink bleeding, so please take this into account before submitting your artwork.
  6. A higher output resolution produces finer, more detailed output and is unrelated to the artwork resolution. The required resolution can be determined by where the large-format print will be displayed; prints viewed from a distance do not require such a high resolution.
  7. When the same file is printed in different runs (such as a reprint of previous artwork), colours will vary because of ink-volume control. A difference in colour density of around 10% is normal and is not grounds for reproduction or return.
  8. For reprints of previous artwork, we cannot determine during artwork checking whether the colour sample matches the colours in the file.
  9. Before exporting the file, all text must be converted to outlines and the image colour mode must be checked to ensure it is CMYK.

Large-Format Print Finishing

  1. Trim on all four sides: the four edges of the large-format print are trimmed neatly with straight cuts.
  2. DieCut: a machine cuts the large-format print into different shapes. A cutting line must be created around the graphic, as shown below:

  3. Seaming: because the width of the large-format printer is limited, two printed panels must be joined into one when the required width exceeds the printer width.
