1Complex backgrounds / dark walls: grey backing is essential

Grey backing prevents the underlying colour from showing through and interfering with the design, giving a more solid-looking result. The effect is most noticeable on coloured walls, vehicles and coloured hoarding.

2Prolonged sunlight / high-temperature locations: choose "no lamination"

If it will be exposed to sunlight or high temperatures for long periods, lamination may shrink in the heat and affect the dimensions. For the safest option, choose no lamination.

3For more of a "sticker look": add DieCut

Contour-cut footprints, arrows, logos or text signs look more like proper signage than square pieces. They also stand out more for event wayfinding and vehicle graphics.

Printing: Single-sided full colour Colour variation in outdoor large-format printing is within a reasonable range and is more noticeable than in conventional print. Cut line required		 Can be cut to any shape. A clear vector outline is recommended for more accurate alignment. Logo stickers, contour-cut lettering, event wayfinding arrows and small vehicle graphics.

Please note: the maximum width for large-format printing is approximately 150cm. Wider designs will be joined to increase the width, and visible seams are normal.

Colour variation in large-format printing is within a reasonable range: generally around 15%–20%, and more noticeable than in conventional print.

Reprints from the same artwork may differ: a colour variation of around 10% is normal when reprinting the same design on the same material.

Lamination is not recommended for prolonged heat / sunlight: heat may cause the laminate to shrink and affect the sticker dimensions; choose "no lamination" for a more reliable result.

Widths over 150cm require joining: visible seams are normal. Keep logos and key content away from seam positions when laying out the artwork.
