Frosted Clear Sticker | Ideal for Window Displays • Translucent Frosted Finish • Standard/Reverse Printing

Want to add graphics and branding without blocking all the natural light through the glass? Frosted clear sticker has an inherent translucent frosted effect, unprinted areas appear frosted, while printed areas produce translucent colour, making it ideal for shop windows, glass doors and office partitions. The material is waterproof and UV-resistant, and can be removed and cleaned up easily.

Effect: inherent translucent frost Printing: single-sided colour Size: custom (cm) Uses: shop windows/glass doors/partitions Features: waterproof/UV-resistant • removable Options: gloss/matte • standard/reverse printing • die-cutting
Quick Selection (decide in 30 seconds)

1For a striking shop window: frosted clear sticker + generous blank space

Use unprinted areas to create a frosted look while retaining natural light; render the logo/key message in translucent colour for greater depth.

2Applying inside and viewing from outside: choose reverse printing

Applied to the inside of the glass, the image still reads correctly from outside; it is also more durable and less prone to scratching.

3Concerned the image will look too pale: darken colours by 30%

The translucent frosted finish softens colours; darken the artwork colours by around 30% for a clearer image.

Specifications & Finish (choose according to use)
Option Features Recommended Use
Material: frosted clear sticker
Inherent translucent frost
Unprinted areas appear frosted and translucent; printed areas show translucent colour, blending naturally with the glass. Shop-window decoration, glass doors, office partitions and display areas.
Finish: matte/gloss (optional)
Choose to suit the setting
Matte produces less glare and cleaner photos; gloss is more vivid and lustrous. For interiors with many lights or reflective surfaces, matte is more reliable; for greater visual impact, choose gloss.
Print direction: standard/reverse (optional)
Ensure the image reads correctly
Standard printing: apply outside; reverse printing: apply inside while retaining the correct image orientation when viewed from outside (more durable). For glass doors/windows, first confirm the application side and viewing direction.
Finishing: die-cutting (optional)
Custom shape cutting
Can be cut to the outline of a logo, lettering or graphic; ideal for small window graphics and icon walls. Designs requiring a more sticker-like look or separate pieces for application.

Tip: frosted clear sticker has a translucent appearance. When designing, use less small text, high contrast and more blank space; set the key message in large/bold type so it remains legible from a distance.

Choosing Standard/Reverse Printing (the two most common uses)
✅ Standard printing (applied outside the glass)
  • Suitable for short-term events/outdoor display areas
  • More straightforward installation: quick alignment
  • However, the outside is more prone to scratching, so avoid frequently touched areas
✅ Reverse printing (applied inside the glass)
  • The image still reads correctly from outside
  • More durable: reduces the risk of scratches and weather exposure
  • Suitable for long-term window displays and glass-door signage

Size & Panel Joins (keep key content clear on large graphics)
Size: custom (length × width in cm) Maximum width: 150cm Graphics exceeding this width will be joined in panels (visible joins are normal) Keep important content clear of panel joins
If you have the glass-door frame/window dimensions, send them to us and we will plan the most natural panel divisions and join positions.
Pre-press Notes (please review before ordering)
1
Colour variation in large-format printing is within a reasonable range: generally around 15%–20%, and may be more noticeable than in conventional printing.
2
The same artwork may vary across materials or production times: a colour difference of around 10% when reprinting the same file is normal.
3
Lamination is generally included: if you do not require lamination, please state this when ordering.
4
Graphics wider than the material will be joined in panels: visible joins are normal; keep logos/key headlines away from the joins.
5
Artwork approval: we are not responsible for proofreading; once approved, the artwork will be printed as confirmed (if you would like us to review join positions/viewing distance first, ask us on WhatsApp).

(The original pre-press notes on the product page take precedence.)

FAQ
Q: Will the frosted clear sticker look very pale?
Clear/translucent materials soften colours. We generally recommend darkening the artwork colours by around 30% for a clearer image.
Q: What is the difference between standard and reverse printing, and which should I choose?
Standard printing is normally applied to the outside of the glass; reverse printing is normally applied inside, but the image still reads correctly from outside and is more durable and less prone to scratching. Simply tell us the application side and viewing direction, and we can confirm the right option.
Q: Can it be removed at any time, and will it leave adhesive residue?
The material is removable and relatively easy to clean up; results will also depend on the condition of the glass surface, duration of use and environment (tell us in advance if it will be applied long-term or in a hot, sun-exposed location).
Q: Will a large window sticker need panel joins?
The maximum large-format printing width is around 150cm; wider graphics will be joined in panels, and visible joins are normal. Keep logos/key headlines away from the joins in your layout.
Q: What should I consider when supplying artwork?
We recommend PDF/AI (the most reliable), or JPG; use 200–350dpi and CMYK. Keep small text as vectors where possible and convert fonts to outlines for clearer output.
