A5 flyers are one of the most commonly used flyer sizes. The standard stock is 157gsm gloss art paper, ideal for everyday street distribution. For a thicker A5 flyer, choose 200gsm or 250gsm.
A5 (148×210mm) is Hong Kong's most popular flyer size: easy to hand out, easy to place in display stands, and large enough for clear information without being oversized. We use gang-run printing to keep prices affordable, with single- or double-sided full-colour printing for promotions, openings, event registration, menu offers and product introductions.
Place the main selling point + offer + address/QR on one side for quick distribution and reading at the best value.
Put a price list/menu/course timetable/map on the reverse to increase the "take-away rate" and conversions.
Ideal as a "premium information card" or for display stands; choose thicker paper for a more substantial feel.
Easier to hand out than A4 and easier to read than A6; convenient for display stands, inserts and post.
Ideal for promotional materials: economical even in large quantities, with greater flexibility to update offers/events.
A QR code + clear CTA (e.g. "scan for an instant discount/register now") usually performs better than "information only".
| Paper | Feel / appearance | Best for... |
|---|---|---|
| 157gsm gloss art paper (popular) Top choice for street distribution |
Vibrant colours and rich images; firm enough for handing out without being too thick, offering excellent value. | Promotions, takeaway menus, opening-day handouts and event advertising. |
| 128gsm gloss art paper (more economical) High-volume distribution |
Lighter and more economical; just as clear, but it will naturally feel slightly "thinner" in hand. | High-volume distribution, short-term events and pop-up promotions. |
| 200gsm / 250gsm (thicker) More premium |
Firmer and more substantial; ideal for versions intended to be "taken away and kept". | Brand introductions, course/service flyers and long-term display stand use. |
Tip: For "close-up reading" applications (such as price lists/course timetables), allow more white space and avoid overcrowding one side.
