Photo Paper - Large-format printing, display boards and banners
Looking for a large-format printing material that looks beautiful at first glance? High-gloss photo paper has a highly glossy surface and richer colour depth, giving the finished product an appearance closer to true print quality. It can also be combined with matte or gloss lamination for improved moisture resistance and durability; it is particularly suitable for display stands, posters, POP advertising, scene dressing and more.
Ideal for display text/price lists/information posters; even under ample indoor lighting, glare is unlikely to overpower the design.
Ideal for product photos/event photos/key visual posters; colours have more "pop", and the finish looks more like a photo print.
Sizes exceeding the material width will be joined; visible joins are normal. Keep joins away from important people/text where possible.
The high-gloss surface better reproduces high contrast and delicate gradients, bringing the finished result closer to "print quality".
Photo paper is generally thicker than PP synthetic paper/PVC sheets, and appears firmer when stretched flat in a display stand.
It works for posters, POP displays, display stands and scene dressing; photo paper is usually the safest choice for balancing results and cost.
If you are producing a "key visual poster", photo paper is usually more appealing than PP synthetic paper; if it needs applying to a wall/board, a PP sticker may be more convenient (depending on use).
| Option | Characteristics | Recommended Uses |
|---|---|---|
| Material: High-Gloss Photo Paper High Gloss • Vivid Colours |
The high gloss makes colours more vivid and tonal depth more pronounced; it is particularly suitable for "key visual" poster content. | Display stands, posters, POP advertising and scene dressing. |
| Finish: Matte Lamination Low Glare • Easier on the Eyes |
The glare-reducing effect is pronounced, improving text readability; suitable for complex indoor lighting/locations where reflections are a concern. | Information posters, price lists and indoor display walls. |
| Finish: Gloss Lamination Brighter and More Vivid |
The image looks "brighter" and colours appear fuller; however, it reflects under strong light, so it is recommended for image-led designs. | Product photos, event photos and key brand visual posters. |
| Printing: Single-Sided Colour Designed for One Display Side |
Single-sided output, suitable for mounting in a stand/on a board/on a wall for display. | Display stand graphics, posters and decorative backdrops. |
| Size: Custom Extra-Wide Sizes Can Be Joined |
Maximum width 150cm; wider sizes can be joined to extend the width, and visible joins are normal. | Large backdrops and long display areas. |
If your size will exceed 150cm in width and requires joining, mark out "join-free areas" first (for example, avoid faces/Logo/small text) for a much better finished result.
