Plastic-Coated Steel Roll-Up Banner Stand | Entry-Level Roll-Up Banner Stand • Best Budget Choice

Want a stand at the lowest possible cost that is "ready to use and set up in 30 seconds"? The plastic-coated steel roll-up banner stand is designed to be lightweight and great value, making it particularly suitable for indoor events, touring displays, presentations and temporary promotional spaces. The graphic is replaceable and retracts into the base after use for easy transport and storage.

Size: 60×160 / 80×200 / 100×200cm Material: PP synthetic paper Finish: matte lamination / gloss lamination Set-up: completed in approx. 30 seconds Recommendation: more stable for indoor use
Quick Selection (Decide in 30 Seconds)

1Best for Compact Spaces: 60×160cm

Suitable for checkout areas, entrance welcome points and the sides of small booths; use larger text for close-range viewing to make it more photogenic.

2Most Popular: 80×200cm

The most popular size for exhibitions/events, with ample graphic space and proportions that are easy to lay out. It is the most reliable choice for a "brand key visual + selling points" design.

3For Greater Impact: 100×200cm

The larger graphic has a stronger presence and is suitable beside a back wall, next to a stage or along the main entrance aisle. Keep the content concise for greater clarity at a distance.

Key Features (Why So Many Choose Entry-Level Plastic-Coated Steel)

Budget-Friendly • Best Entry-Level Value

Create a professional display that is "ready to set up and use" at the lowest cost, particularly suitable for short-term events, market testing and touring promotions.

Lightweight to Carry • Neat Storage

The graphic retracts into the base after use, so it does not crease. It takes up little space in transport and storage, making it ideal for events that move between locations.

Set Up in 30 Seconds • Easy Graphic Replacement

Pull out the graphic, insert the support pole and secure it at the right height. For a future event, simply produce a new graphic to keep using the stand.

Specifications & Materials (Choose to Suit Your Use)
Option Features Recommended Uses
Base: plastic-coated steel (entry level)
Lightweight and excellent value for money
Designed to be "affordable, lightweight and quick to set up"; better suited to stable indoor environments and not recommended for prolonged use in strong winds. Indoor exhibitions, promotional spaces, conference events and touring displays.
Print material: PP synthetic paper
Rigid graphic and easy to maintain
Commonly used for indoor wide-format displays, with sufficient rigidity; lamination helps reduce scratches and stains. Brand key visuals, price lists and event information boards.
Surface finish: matte lamination / gloss lamination
Choose according to reflections at the venue
Matte lamination has less glare and is easier to control in photographs; gloss lamination produces more vivid colours but may reflect more light in brightly lit areas. Matte lamination: venues with plenty of indoor lighting / photography areas; gloss lamination: when you want a more eye-catching finish and colours that pop.

Note: the entry-level plastic-coated steel model "does the job" but is not designed for strong winds. If it will be placed near an entrance, in a draughty corridor or at an outdoor stall, a range with a heavier base is recommended for greater stability.

30-Second Set-Up (Stress-Free Even the First Time)
Step 1

Place the base flat and pull the graphic out to the appropriate height (do not pull it all the way out at once; pulling slowly gives a smoother action).

Step 2

Insert the support pole to secure the graphic; ensure the fastener is fully engaged so the graphic stands straighter and more securely.

Step 3

Fine-tune the position and angle to avoid glare from direct lighting; reverse the steps when packing away and slowly retract the graphic into the base.

Design / Artwork Submission Recommendations (Correct Artwork Produces the Best Output)
✅ File Format
  • Accepted: JPG / PDF / AI / PS
  • Not recommended: TIF (may cause changes to the content)
✅ Resolution / Colour
  • Resolution: 200 – 350dpi
  • Colour mode: CMYK
  • Fine text / thin lines: use vector artwork (Illustrator) for greater clarity
✅ Layout Safety Margins
  • Wide-format artwork generally does not require bleed (prepare artwork to the finished size)
  • Leave a safe margin between important content and all four edges to prevent it being affected by trimming / the area that retracts into the base
  • Convert all text to outlines, and embed / link images

Pre-Press Notes (We Recommend You Read These)
1
Colour variation in wide-format printing is within a reasonable range: generally approx. 15%–20% (more noticeable than with conventional printed products).
2
The same file may vary across production times / materials: a colour variation of approx. 10% is normal when the same image is output again.
3
Lamination is included: please specify when ordering if lamination is not required.
4
Avoid raster artwork for fine text: use vector software to prepare fine text for clearer output.
5
Artwork approval: the company is not responsible for proofreading; once approved, production will proceed according to the approved artwork.

FAQ
Q: How do I choose between 60×160 / 80×200 / 100×200?
60×160: compact checkout / entrance spaces; 80×200: the most popular and reliable for exhibitions; 100×200: for greater impact and visibility from a distance.
Q: What is the difference between matte and gloss lamination?
Matte lamination has less glare and is easier to control in photographs; gloss lamination is more vivid and eye-catching but may reflect more light in brightly lit areas. Matte lamination is preferred for most indoor exhibition booths.
Q: Is this model suitable for outdoor use?
The plastic-coated steel model is entry-level and is recommended primarily for indoor use. If it will be near a draughty entrance, at an outdoor stall or on long-term display, a range with a more substantial base is recommended for peace of mind.
Q: What should I note when submitting artwork?
JPG/PDF/AI/PS, 200–350dpi and CMYK are recommended. Create fine text / thin lines as vector artwork wherever possible and convert text to outlines for much clearer output.
Q: Can I replace the graphic and reuse the stand later?
Yes. The roll-up banner stand is designed for convenient storage and replacement of promotional content. For a future event, simply produce a new graphic to keep using the stand.
