Q: Why is woodfree paper better for writing on letterhead?
Woodfree paper has a matte surface and a more noticeable paper texture, so ink grips the paper better. This makes signatures, annotations and handwriting smoother, and is also well suited to formal company letterhead.
Q: Does letterhead artwork need bleed?
Most company letterheads retain white margins, so bleed is usually unnecessary. For a full-bleed background colour or image, add 3mm bleed (216×303mm).
Q: Will one-colour printing look too plain?
One-colour printing actually looks the most formal. To enhance the branding, use a pale watermark or light-grey background pattern, or give the logo more surrounding white space for a more refined result.
Q: Can you help lay it out if I only have a logo and company details?
