An Essential Prop for Gala Dinners and Award Ceremonies

Printing Banana presentation cheques are available in 1200mm x 600mm and 1800mm x 800mm sizes, allowing you to choose the right size for your needs. Giant presentation cheques are often featured at award gala dinners, displaying information such as the winner's name or the prize awarded. Even an airline ticket can be printed as a presentation cheque for use at an award gala dinner.

Pre-printing Notes:

• The acceptable colour variation for large-format printing is 15%~20%, which is greater than that of printed materials.
• Even when the same artwork is printed on different materials or with different inks, colours will vary; the same artwork printed on the same material at different times may also vary in colour due to environmental differences.
• When the same file is reprinted (such as a reprint of previous artwork), a colour variation of 10% or so is normal and cannot be grounds for reprinting or a return.
• All large-format printing includes the cost of lamination. If lamination is not required, please let us know when placing your order.
• When the large-format print size exceeds the width of the material, sections can be joined to increase the width. Visible marks at the joins are normal.
• The maximum width for large-format printing is 150cm; lengths over 150cm will be joined by default.
• For reprints of previous artwork, we are unable to determine during artwork checking whether the colour sample matches the colours in the file.
• All installation and large-format printing charges are calculated separately.

Other Notes:

• We are not responsible for proofreading. Please carefully check that all information is correct before approving the artwork. Once approved, the order will be printed and delivered according to the artwork confirmed by the customer, and the customer will be responsible for any other errors or omissions.

Ordering Process

Artwork Preparation Notes

1. Accepted large-format artwork formats are JPG, PDF, AI and PS. Please prepare the files accordingly. The file resolution must be 200 - 350dpi and the colour mode must be CMYK.
2. If the large-format print contains small text, please avoid using image-processing software (such as Photoshop) for the design, as the text can easily appear blurred when printed. Using Illustrator vector software to prepare the artwork can prevent blurred text.
3. Printing Banana does not accept TIF files, as TIF files may alter the file content and cause problems with the finished print.
4. Bleed is not required for large-format artwork. If a white border is required, please draw the outer frame yourself and specify that it represents the white border, as shown below:
   
   
5. Ink dots in large-format output appear different from conventional printing. Very small text, lines and graphics may have blurred edges or ink bleeding, so please bear this in mind before submitting your artwork.
6. A higher output resolution produces a finer, more detailed print and is unrelated to the artwork resolution. The output resolution can be selected according to where the large graphic will be placed; graphics viewed from a distance do not require such a high resolution.
7. When the same file is printed in different runs (such as a reprint of previous artwork), colours will vary due to ink volume control. A colour density variation of around 10% is normal and cannot be grounds for requesting a reproduction or return.
8. For reprints of previous artwork, we are unable to determine during artwork checking whether the colour sample matches the colours in the file.
9. Before outputting the file, all text must be outlined and the image file mode must be checked to ensure it is CMYK.
